Depression Entry 1#: The Saddening Guitar

There are nights where certain memories hit harder than others. Tonight is one of those nights.
I find myself missing my little sister Bevin more than usual.
Growing up, I was a struggling "cool" older sibling. I wanted to be someone she looked up to. Someone who could protect her. Someone she could be proud of.
But things changed. Legal officers found my mom unfit to take care of me because of my step dad, and I disappeared from the life I knew.
My little sister stayed with my mom. And somewhere out there... I heard she still has my guitar.
The thing that makes this guitar special is what I heard happened after.
I heard Bevin played Deltarune. She heard the soundtrack. She found the song "Find Her." And she wrote something on my guitar.
"Find Him."
Even though I have moved on from that guitar... Even though I'm getting a new acoustic... I still want to write songs for her. Songs I hope I can show her someday if we ever meet again.
